Last weekend, the wife and I joined our friends Tim and Sue in Indy to go see Blue Man Group. Great show. I think I still prefer the smaller shows at their regular venues, but we still had a blast. We had seen BMG before, but it was the first time for Tim and Sue. It was great to see their reaction. It reminded me of my first time seeing the show.
in other news:
I don't think I've mentioned this on here, so here 'tis. Techforwriters.com is having a writing contest. 5 to 10 thousand words and the title of your short story must be "Love in the time of spiders".If you're curious as to why that is the title, e-mail me and I'll explain. I'm currently writing a song and creating a short movie to illustrate how someone came up with this title. I use no names in my work, but everyone knows it's Bruce.
In further other news, Brazil is having a CD release party in Indy on the 21st of this month. I think it's on the 21st to symbolize their status as the premier new band of the 21st century.
Ironically, I believe the Irving is an all ages place, so you don't need to be 21.
See? There's hidden symbolism in everything. fnord.
